Announcement Regarding the Completion of Exemption Applications and Exemption Appeal Applications for Students Enrolling in the 2025-2026 Academic Year
Students who enrolled in the Open Education Faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year, whose uploaded document and/or requested exemption for a course was not accepted during the exemption application, may submit an objection application regarding the courses for which they previously requested exemption between the dates of 08.12.2025 – 09.12.2025. The exemption objection application period will begin on 08.12.2025 at 10.00 (Türkiye time) and end on 09.12.2025 at 23.59 (Türkiye time). Students who did not make a request (did not complete their application) during the announced exemption application dates for the 2025-2026 academic year cannot apply for an exemption objection. Furthermore, exemption objection applications cannot be made for courses for which no exemption request was submitted during the announced dates.
Students who enrolled via the Entrance Exam, Diploma Equivalence, and Second University scope in the 2025-2026 Academic Year may submit objection requests via the channels specified in the Exemption Announcement. Students are required to make their exemption objection applications according to the explanations in the exemption announcement.
Students whose documents were rejected in the exemption application made via the Student Information System must take into account the warnings under the heading "Warnings for Students Who Will Upload Documents".
Students who have graduation information on e-Government and who unchecked (deselected) the YÖK compulsory courses in their enrolled program (which are normally exempted by the system but shown as marked on the student information system) may also request exemption.
Information for Students Who Will Submit an Exemption Objection Request
- Students whose transcript uploaded during the exemption application was rejected because it was uncertified must upload a transcript obtained from the https://www.turkiye.gov.tr e-Government page > Council of Higher Education Presidency > Transcript Document Inquiry link, or a Turkish certified transcript to be obtained from their institutions, via the Student Information System (aosogrenci.anadolu.edu.tr) link at aof.anadolu.edu.tr between the exemption objection application dates.
- For graduate students, it is sufficient to upload the front and back of the Turkish graduation certificate (diploma). Graduate students do not need to upload a transcript.
- For exemption objection applications, institution/notary-approved Turkish translations of documents in foreign languages are accepted.
- Requests from students who upload documents that are not suitable for exemption requests (documents marked "Sample"; lacking signature, e-signature, QR code, barcode, etc., or unverifiable) or are not in Turkish are not accepted.
- Student Certificates are not accepted for exemption procedures.
- Courses for which exemption is granted will be shown with the MU letter grade in the Student Information System Course Status Panel. No separate action will be taken for courses for which the objection request is rejected, and it is the student's responsibility to follow up on the application/objection results.
Information Regarding Midterm Exam Courses for Students Requesting Exemption
If the courses for which exemption is processed do not appear with the MU letter grade in the Course Status Panel by the Fall Semester Midterm Exam; please mark the answers in your exam.
