The Associate Degree Program in Social Services aims both to train new mid-level personnel needed for the organization and delivery of social services, and to enhance the qualifications of individuals who are already working in the field but have not received formal academic training.
Graduates who successfully complete the Associate Degree Program in Social Services may work in various units of institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies; in public and private nursing homes; in centers for disability care and rehabilitation; in special education institutions for persons with disabilities; in Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations; and in the social assistance and service units of local administrations.
