The Associate Degree Program in Cultural Heritage and Tourism aims to train professionals who can contribute to efforts to carefully safeguard Türkiye’s archaeological assets and cultural and artistic heritage; open these assets to national and international tourism to transform them into attractions; and thereby support sustainable development from social, cultural, and economic perspectives.
In today’s world, developments in the tourism sector have made this field increasingly popular. However, many individuals working in this area lack formal academic training. The program therefore seeks to meet their information needs through distance education and to provide learning opportunities for those interested in Cultural Heritage and Tourism.
