The Associate Degree Program in Occupational Health and Safety aims to provide training for Occupational Health and Safety Technicians with the potential to fill the significant gap in our country’s need for qualified personnel in this field.
Graduates who successfully complete the Associate Degree Program in Occupational Health and Safety will acquire the knowledge and competence to instil a workplace culture of occupational health and safety, take all necessary preventive measures, and protect the safety and health of all employees. Program graduates may become Occupational Safety Specialists by passing the examination administered by ÖSYM on behalf of the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety. In line with the explicit provisions and definitions in the relevant legislation, graduates gain the right to sit the examination leading to the Occupational Safety Specialist certificate.
