With over 40 years of experience in open and distance education, Anadolu University’s Open Education Faculty offers higher education opportunities in Turkish and English to students living in Middle Eastern countries.
Along with the Turkish Language and Culture (for Foreign Students) Associate Degree Program, various associate and bachelor’s degree programs offered in Turkish and English are also accessible in Middle Eastern countries.
Anadolu University Faculty of Open Education International Programs operate in the following Middle East countries:

- Iran

- Kuwait
- Lebanon
- Egypt
- Syria
- Saudi Arabia
- Oman
- Jordan
- Saudi Arabia: Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina
- Egypt: Cairo
- Qatar: Doha
- United Arab Emirates: Dubai
- Iraq: Baghdad
- Lebanon: Beirut
- Syria: Damascus, Aleppo
- Jordan: Amman
The overseas admission requirements of the Open Education Faculty are the same for all countries.
Admissions are based on high school diploma equivalency, and applicants are only required to submit the following:

A valid passport or ID card

A biometric photograph

A completed online application form
Equivalency verification and eligibility checks can be carried out via global.anadolu.edu.tr.
All registration procedures are conducted entirely online, and university staff provide full support to students at every stage of the process.
The Open Education Faculty offers various associate and bachelor’s degree programs in both Turkish and English for students in Middle Eastern countries.
All programs are conducted through the open and distance education model.

Courses are conducted 100% online.
Students can participate in live sessions held at different times, ask instructors questions directly, and access all recorded lessons whenever they wish.
Exams for Middle Eastern countries are held either at designated exam centers or through the online exam system.
Exam dates and center information are also announced separately on each country’s page.
For Middle East countries, the semester instruction and material fee for the 2026-2027 academic year is $125.
The fee for English programs for the 2026-2027 academic year is 500 $.
The tuition for the Preparatory Class of the Associate Degree Program in Turkish Language and Culture is covered by our university.
Payments are made online; necessary bank details and payment steps are provided within the application system.
* Semester tuition and material fees are determined by taking into account the economic indicators of the respective countries.
