The Associate Degree Program in Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies aims to train qualified personnel who are versed in the basic principles, processes, and management of health services and who communicate effectively. In parallel with the development of the health services sector in our country, the need for qualified staff is also increasing. Accordingly, the program seeks to provide distance-education opportunities for those interested in the sector and wishing to specialize professionally through formal training, thereby enabling their employment in the field. Graduates are anticipated to take on roles in hospital administration after graduation.
Graduates who successfully complete the Associate Degree Program in Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies work in medical units such as clinics, polyclinics, laboratories, operating rooms, and emergency departments of private and public health institutions. They also serve in administrative units such as medical boards, patient admissions, and patient file archives.
